Well, this blog is because of all the anger and frustration. I'm sure that all Indian women have been molested atleast once.I've done a lot of research in this field. A nice Kiwi man suggested me to do a course in Women studies.

Below is some data I collected a year back.... After the Dhananjay Chatterjee episode.
PROFILE OF A RAPIST
- Has a history of rule breaking.
-Physical agression towards children and animals, from a young age.
-Lack of remorse.
-Lack of interpersonal interaction with women.
- If in a relationaship, does not treat the woman as an equal.
-Is intellectually and physically intimidating.
A rapist is not always conspicuous. The beast can be lurking in a street corner, inside people's homes and can even be a freind!! 2005 was the Indian woman's Annus Horribilis. According to studies, 95.5 % of the rapists are illiterate, drop-outs..........bottom line -lack of education and social awareness. It could even be because of the patriarchal set-up, wherein a man feels that if a woman is out partying, dressed in what he feels is provocative attire, then she is asking for 'it'. There are certain common traits to rapists, beginning with a complete disregard for the feelings of others. They suffer from low self esteem and a distorted view of their own sexuality.
LACK OF PUNISHMENT
When a man tries to eve-tease a woman and neither she nor others around react, it encourages him to go ahead and assault. Believe me people, it is not the young road romeos who do this stuff but the older men. If one stands at a bus stop and notices, you'll find young lads only passing comments and that too only if they are in a group. But the older men, come, stand next to you and pass such disgusting comments, asking you out, asking how much you would charge etc. If the girl creates a scene they put their innocent mask on saying that they are almost your father's age etc. its kinda difficult to handle these kinda men.
Young fellows are pretty nervous to do things like this but older men take advantake of their age. What is it that makes them to go to such an extent? Its variety that they need, it is their animal lusts they want to fulfill with young flesh....................I'm not sure if anyone will agree to this talk of mine, but this is my perception.
